1. We represented a client who suffered moderate neck and spine injury and a broken jaw, due to a traffic accident. As a result of our negotiations, we were able to obtain $40,000 more than the previously negotiated counter offer. In the end, the client walked away with approximately $130,000.
2. We were able to obtain a judgement of more than $7,000 in outstanding child maintenance and attachment of earnings for ongoing maintenance for the minor children of a divorced couple.
3. The client wanted a divorce after she and her children were abandoned by her spouse for more than 12 years. She knew that he was in another Caribbean country but was not aware of his address for service. We were able to trace her husband and obtain the divorce within a year.
4. We represented a client in a divorce and obtained a judgment for costs. After which, the debtor did not honor the order and make payment as ordered by the honourable court. We had the costs taxed and were eventually able to recover the client’s costs, as well as our costs for pursuing the matter.
5. Provided an opinion on title that saved a client from losing nearly $300k on a proposed property purchase where title was defective.
6. Assisted a client with obtaining vacant possession of a property valued at approximately $80k.
